GOJE Group Travels to Egypt for the Middle East and Africa Water Treatment and Energy Exhibition, Cultivating a New Blue Ocean in North Africa

On September 14, GOJE Group showcased at the 2026 Middle East and Africa Water Treatment and Energy Exhibition held at the Cairo International Conference Center, and held in-depth discussions with business partners from Egypt, the Gulf countries, and several African nations on cooperation opportunities in evaporation and heat-exchange equipment.

GOJE Group Travels to Egypt for the Middle East and Africa Water Treatment and Energy Exhibition, Cultivating a New Blue Ocean in North Africa

As Egypt's only integrated professional exhibition focused on the dual tracks of "water + energy," this year's event received support from official bodies including Egypt's Ministry of Housing, Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, Ministry of Investment, Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, and Ministry of Environment. Egypt is among the world's most water-scarce countries; under its 2017–2037 National Water Resources Strategy, the government plans to invest around EGP 900 billion to enhance water treatment capacity, improve water-use efficiency, and develop new water sources. Market research shows that the Middle East and Africa water and wastewater treatment market is expected to reach USD 44.5 billion by 2030, with the seawater desalination equipment segment growing at nearly 9.8% annually—making it one of the most promising incremental markets in the global water sector.

During the exhibition, the GOJE team spotlighted core process solutions such as seawater desalination, evaporation and crystallization, and industrial wastewater and waste gas treatment, engaging in in-depth matchmaking with local water utilities, EPC general contractors, industrial manufacturers, and distributors. With its hardcore high-salinity wastewater evaporation and crystallization technology, GOJE Group captured the attention of local Egyptian authorities, and multiple local TV stations and media outlets rushed to cover the story.

This Egypt trip follows GOJE Group's participation in the Algeria Environmental Protection Exhibition this May and its visit to Tunisia in June, marking another important move in cultivating the North African market. Leveraging the localization advantages of its Middle East subsidiary (FLYH) and the "36524" global service system, GOJE Group is steadily bringing China's mature energy- and water-saving equipment and system solutions to the regions with the greatest water scarcity and most urgent needs, actively supporting the green development of the Belt and Road Initiative through concrete action.
